About - I am an amateur photographer. I've shot a few weddings, plus maternity, family and pet portraits, but currently just take photos for fun. My hobby is traveling and I enjoy trying to capture the atmosphere of the people and sites of a particular place.

History - I am a 2003 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD.  I have a degree in Journalism and a minor in European Studies.  I spent one semester abroad at Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, England, and another at Högskolan för Lärande och Kommunikation (School of Education and Communication) in Jönköping, Sweden.

My husband Jon and I both work for Daktronics Inc., in the Daktronics Shanghai office.  He is the Sales and Marketing Director of China and I manage our Keyframe department.

I've started a new blog with a few basic photo tips. It's targeted for everyone - you don't need a fancy camera to benefit from these ideas.

Speaking of fancy cameras, I decided to upgrade to the Canon 5D! Now I just have to have someone mule over from the US....
